From the Richland Hills website:
The City of Richland Hills is a vibrant, progressive community located right in the middle of a major metropolitan area. The City, with approximately 8,132 citizens is strategically located in the crescent of Northeast Loop 820 and Texas 121 in Northeast Tarrant County allowing residents easy access to all the amenities offered within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Residents enjoy some of the best housing values in north Texas in well-kept, highly stable neighborhoods with large lots (up to two acres in size) and attractive, affordable homes. At the same time, more than 325 businesses exist in Richland Hills. Forty-nine percent of city revenues come from property taxes paid by businesses and from sales taxes. This helps keep residential property taxes among the lowest in the county.
